Does anyone else use bcps continuously to skip their periods? (Birth Control board)

4th January 2006
I am trying to take birth control pills continuously to skip my periods by throwing out the placebos. Not just a period once in a while, but ALL of them. (Well, The plan is to have about 2 a year.) Anyway, I am having considerable difficulty so far and I am wondering if anyone else out there has had success doing this. My doctor just switched me from Ortho Novum 1/35 to Zovia 1/35 (I think this may be the generic version of Demulen) because I was having horrible breakthrough bleeding. I stopped the old ones yesterday and I haven't started the new ones yet. I am just becomming extremely discouraged and worried. If anyone else has experience/success doing this, please let me know.
