Hi! You sound similar to me - I am a 26-year old female - I am in the fifth month on Accutane - I tried everything else before the Accutane though - including a number of different BCPs - - the best pill I found was Demulen but I know everyone is different and it's hard to know how you will do on any specific pill - I used Proactiv for a while and it worked okay - but my skin was a weird mix of dry and oily - I have hard mixed reviews of Yasmin but it seems to work really well for some people.
Accutane is definitely not for everyone but my skin is the best it has ever looked - - I have had a great experience so far.
