My cardiologist has never indicated I should get off of plavix at all. I had my first stent placement in May 2005 and the last one just a couple of weeks ago. (total 5 in little over a year) I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get off the drug. I have been on plavix, vytorin, niaspan and 325 mg of aspirin daily..yet I still get blockages?? hmmm are these sugar pills? seems to me that they arent working.
