[QUOTE=luckygem13;2976360]My only side effects with the patch seem to be a little bit of dizziness (I'm talking while spinning during ballroom dancing) and maybe a slight loss of coordination....I feel like maybe I am not driving exactly straight in the car lane on roads....but then again I'm paranoid and extremely sensitive. I also have very interesting and vivid dreams. I have taken tricyclics and lots of SSRI's...the patch beats them all (for me) hands down. Also, great sex and NO weight gain, LOVE it. I've lost 10lbs in 6 weeks effortlessly :)

Hi luckygem. This is my first time back since posting about the patch. I guess I've been on it 2+ months now. I haven't lost any weight:confused: Wish something would cause me to; that only adds to the depression. I hope not to embarass anyone, but I've NEVER had a strong sex drive, BUT, once engaged, I just want to GIT 'ER DUN!! In other words, though I'm a woman, I prefer it like most men, just cut to the chase, catch that wave and ride it. Unfortunately, due to depression in both of us, there has been NO sexual activity for nearly a year. However, I HAVE had a few vivid erotic dreams.
Recently, (since I wrote), I had major fluid retention and have been put on Lasix. I also take Atenolol for blood pressure, Vytorin for high cholesterol, a Xanax here and there for anxiety, and sometimes pain patches. When you're on so many medications it's confusing to know what med or combo is causing the side effects. I continue to sweat profusely while others are cool as a cucumber. It's so annoying and uncomfortable!!
For Doctors out there, or people who've tried it all, what REALLY works??--aside from winning millions in the lottery and having everything you want fall into place. Sometimes I think it could just be a "mind set", and that back to my origional thinking, I'm just melancholy by nature. (When it comes to me and how I feel). Many times I push that into the background because I'm on a mission to try to uplift the lives of people I come into contact with. That seems to be when I feel my best. Then when I'm alone, every little thing that bothers me becomes and insurmountable mountain.
