I'm 26 and almost certain that I have blockage what can I do to reverse it? (Heart Disorders board)

Firstly,
Do NOT waste your money on any online oral chelator...all scams.

You need to ascertain if you have any arterial blockages and this is best done nonsurgically with a scan after injection with a radioactive isotope.

If you have plaque blockages, the way to deal with them is to get your LDL cholesterol below 100 to keep from forming more or below 70 to start reducing them. THis is done either drug treatment (usually statin drugs like Lipitor, Crestor, Vytorin. or simvastatin.) An alternative to the drug therapy is a vegan diet with less than 10% of you calories coming from fat (vegetable fats.)

If blockages are in your legs or kidney arteries, the approch is usually to open them with a catheter or to graft new vessels to bypass the old.
Do you think the pain in your leg is caused by a blocked or inflamed artery (phlebitis?)
