Due to elavated LDH I was put on Vytorin. Took med. for 4 months and had labs. checked. LDH good, HDL 85 - good as usual due to exercise . Liver function ALT ,ASL HIGH. Stopped med. had CBC everything was abnormal. Previously CBC all normal. Only side effect noticed was joint stiffness in knees but would let up after taking a walk daily. After much lab. work and bone marrow biopsy I was diagnosed with Aplastic Anemia 5/07.
Presently having my blood check every other day and getting blood transfusions and platlets weekly.Anyone else with similiar side effect or end diaganosis? Reply welcomed.
